Connect the store floor to the dispatch desk
How we help
An item sold at a counter can still appear available online, while a warehouse transfer looks like missing stock. Different systems may also use different meanings for allocated, picked, dispatched and returned, leaving staff to interpret the gaps.
BrownBag maps the events shared by your order-management, warehouse-management and point-of-sale systems. We agree which system owns each status and location, connect the supported handoffs and test the operational edge cases with the people responsible for stores and fulfilment.

How the work is handled
Align locations and operating events
Map stores, warehouses, bins where relevant, products and stock states. Agree when a POS sale, reservation, transfer or warehouse confirmation changes the central order and inventory records.
Build allocation and fulfilment handoffs
Connect the approved order-release, picking, dispatch and retail transaction flows. Preserve the originating references and distinguish a partial fulfilment from a completed order or a stock transfer.
Pilot across a complete trading cycle
Test a store sale, online allocation, split dispatch and return. Reconcile location quantities and sale/refund records, then assign each exception to the team that can resolve it.

Your questions, answered
Can a store fulfil an online order?
That flow can be planned when your systems support it. We need to agree stock availability, allocation priority, staff acceptance and the point at which the store confirms dispatch or collection.
Do we need to replace our warehouse system?
We first assess the existing interfaces and operating fit. The project may connect current systems, use a controlled file handoff or identify a specific capability gap before a replacement decision is made.
