The problem we help solve
A clearer handoff. Less uncertainty.
Plugin-specific fields and custom order statuses do not always match an ERP or warehouse connector. A simple sync can miss the details operations relies on.
How BrownBag helps
We use the supported WooCommerce REST API and available webhooks for the agreed store version, inspecting extensions and custom fields before choosing the integration approach.
From requirement to operation
Your WooCommerce workflow
Inspect the store model
Review product types, order statuses, custom fields and the plugins that affect checkout, inventory or fulfilment.
Build the scoped connection
Map REST resources and webhook events to the destination system. Use least-privilege keys and validate incoming requests.
Test extensions and exceptions
Check variations, refunds, failed deliveries and edited orders. Confirm retry behaviour and keep unmatched records visible for review.
What we can deliver
- Store and extension compatibility review
- REST and webhook data mapping
- Error handling and maintenance guide
We agree the systems, responsibilities, acceptance checks and support arrangements before implementation begins.
Define the right scope
Third-party plugins can change available fields and behaviour. Unsupported extensions or private database customisations need separate assessment; direct database writes are not assumed.
Provider requirements and interfaces can change. We recheck the applicable documentation and account access when scoping your project.
Official WooCommerce reference →Your questions, answered
Will this work with our existing plugins?
We review the actual plugin versions and exposed data first. A connector may need additional mapping, an extension-specific interface or a controlled manual step for unsupported fields.
What should we include in the first brief?
Share your current store and systems, provider account status, target markets and the workflow you want to improve. Include typical volumes and the person responsible for operations. Do not send passwords, API keys or customer records.
