From confirmed order to prepared parcel
How we help
An order can be correct in the system and still reach the customer with the wrong variant, missing component or unsuitable packaging. Consistent preparation requires more than a list of products and a pile of cartons.
BrownBag picks and packs against the order and product instructions you approve. We define the checks at the picking and packing stages, record exceptions and prepare the parcel for the agreed courier workflow. This connects your customer promise with a repeatable physical process and a clearer record of what left the warehouse.

How the work is handled
Translate orders into picking instructions
Confirm which orders are released for fulfilment and map their products to warehouse SKUs and locations. Identify bundles, inserts and other order-specific requirements before picking, including how cancelled, held or incomplete orders should be handled.
Check and pack the goods
Check the picked products and quantities against the order, then use the agreed packaging and presentation instructions. Record unavailable items or preparation issues for a decision instead of substituting a product or changing the order without approval.
Prepare the dispatch handover
Connect the packed parcel with its order reference and the required shipping documents. Organise the handover to the agreed courier or dispatch process, keeping packing completion distinct from the later collection and delivery status.

Your questions, answered
Can you use our branded packaging?
Yes. Share the packaging, inserts and presentation requirements so we can agree how they are supplied, stored and used. Different products can have different approved packing instructions.
What happens if an item is missing at picking?
We identify the affected order and check the stock position. Your agreed exception process determines whether to hold, split or change it; the packing team should not guess the customer’s preference.
