APIs & connected systems

eBay integration services

Connect eBay inventory and seller workflows to a consistent internal product record.

The problem we help solve

A clearer handoff. Less uncertainty.

Internal SKUs, marketplace listings and available quantities do not line up, making listing changes and multi-channel stock control harder to trust.

How BrownBag helps

We review the relevant eBay Sell APIs and account authorisation, then map the inventory and seller operations that fit your listing model. Migration from another listing approach is treated as an explicit decision.

From requirement to operation

Your eBay workflow

  1. Review the seller and listing model

Confirm marketplaces, business policies, existing listings and the API resources suitable for the account.

  2. Connect inventory records

Map SKUs, inventory locations and supported offers or listing operations to the system responsible for stock and product data.

  3. Validate updates and exceptions

Test quantity changes, failed validations and interrupted requests. Reconcile marketplace records with internal references before expanding the scope.

What we can deliver

  • Seller resource and identifier map
  • Scoped Sell API connection
  • Validation and reconciliation workflow

We agree the systems, responsibilities, acceptance checks and support arrangements before implementation begins.

Define the right scope

eBay permissions, marketplace rules and API resource limits apply. Not every legacy listing workflow can be changed through the same API without a migration plan.

Provider requirements and interfaces can change. We recheck the applicable documentation and account access when scoping your project.

Your questions, answered

Can you connect listings that are already live?

We first inspect how they were created and which API model manages them. Any migration or relisting impact is documented and approved before changing the live catalogue.

What should we include in the first brief?

Share your current store and systems, provider account status, target markets and the workflow you want to improve. Include typical volumes and the person responsible for operations. Do not send passwords, API keys or customer records.
