COD, funding & fulfilment
not provider collected in documented flow. Gooten says it does not collect payments from the merchant's customers. It charges the merchant's billing method for production and shipping. Its Shopify guide says orders must be marked paid before import, so an unpaid COD order needs careful workflow review.
Returns and operating limitations
- No general exchanges or returns; some vendors can handle returned-to-sender packages. Reprint/refund requests should be submitted within four weeks of receipt or expected delivery.
- Manufacturing errors, transit damage, wrong items and qualifying lost shipments can be covered. Delivered-but-not-received claims at a correct address are the merchant's responsibility under the reviewed policy.
- Cancellation or modification after production starts is not guaranteed. General custom packaging/inserts are not supported under the reviewed support policy.
What a scoped engagement should establish
Confirm account and billing access, product variants, stock updates, customer delivery zones and order funding. Test order acceptance, cancellation, tracking, failed sync, returns and refunds with the agreed provider workflow. Document the work that remains manual and who handles exceptions.
Agree build deliverables, client-owned accounts, third-party subscriptions and ongoing support separately. Do not send account passwords or API keys in the public enquiry form.
