The problem we help solve
A clearer handoff. Less uncertainty.
A gateway plugin may collect payments while the team still relies on manual checking to release orders or explain a transaction to a customer.
How BrownBag helps
We review Safepay’s supported integration options for your storefront and merchant account, then connect the selected flow to verified order states and finance records.
From requirement to operation
Your Safepay workflow
Choose a supported connection
Review the available plugin or API path against the store version, checkout requirements and methods approved for your business.
Connect the order lifecycle
Map order references, payment responses and the supported server-side confirmation mechanism. Keep incomplete payments visible for follow-up.
Validate the handover
Test declines, retries and refunds where enabled, then agree the reporting and reconciliation routine with the person responsible for finance.
What we can deliver
- Plugin or API integration assessment
- Payment and order-state connection
- Testing and reconciliation instructions
We agree the systems, responsibilities, acceptance checks and support arrangements before implementation begins.
Define the right scope
Safepay approval, methods and current product features are determined by your merchant agreement. Subscription, split-payment or payout work requires explicit product support and a separate implementation scope.
Provider requirements and interfaces can change. We recheck the applicable documentation and account access when scoping your project.

Should we use a plugin or a custom API integration?
A maintained compatible plugin can reduce custom work. We recommend an API connection when your checkout or back-office requirements justify it and the merchant interface supports the required workflow.
What should we include in the first brief?
Share your current store and systems, provider account status, target markets and the workflow you want to improve. Include typical volumes and the person responsible for operations. Do not send passwords, API keys or customer records.
