Payment gateways

Checkout.com integration services

Connect Checkout.com payment events with your storefront and the work after checkout.

The problem we help solve

A clearer handoff. Less uncertainty.

Different systems disagree about whether a transaction is authorised, captured or refunded, making it hard to support customers or close the daily accounts.

How BrownBag helps

We plan a Checkout.com integration around the interfaces and payment methods enabled for your merchant account. The work connects the customer checkout, server-side status checks and internal order references.

From requirement to operation

Your Checkout.com workflow

  1. Review the account and flow

Confirm the approved entity, processing channels, payment methods and integration documentation for the account.

  2. Connect checkout and events

Implement the selected payment flow and authenticated event handling. Map provider references to orders and define retry and duplicate-event behaviour.

  3. Validate operational outcomes

Test failures and refunds as well as successful payments. Agree a reconciliation export and a support process for payments that need investigation.

What we can deliver

  • Account-specific integration plan
  • Order and payment-event mapping
  • Refund and reporting handoff

We agree the systems, responsibilities, acceptance checks and support arrangements before implementation begins.

Define the right scope

Methods, processing regions and platform services depend on Checkout.com approval and contract. We do not promise account acceptance, universal market access or unsupported settlement arrangements.

Provider requirements and interfaces can change. We recheck the applicable documentation and account access when scoping your project.

Your questions, answered

Can you migrate us from another gateway?

We can scope a staged migration with test transactions, rollback criteria and reconciliation. Stored payment credentials require a separately approved provider-to-provider migration; they are not copied casually between systems.

What should we include in the first brief?

Share your current store and systems, provider account status, target markets and the workflow you want to improve. Include typical volumes and the person responsible for operations. Do not send passwords, API keys or customer records.

Connect the rest of the operation
