The problem we help solve
A clearer handoff. Less uncertainty.
A consent banner can look complete while tags still fire too early or an unsubscribe request never reaches another system. Teams need a clear connection between the choice a customer makes and what happens next.
How BrownBag helps
We implement consent and privacy workflows against requirements agreed with your legal or privacy adviser. This can include tag controls, preference records, marketing suppression and a process for handling data requests.
From requirement to operation
Your Privacy & consent workflow
Map collection and use
Inventory the forms, tags, processors and messaging channels in scope. Record purposes, data owners and the requirements supplied by your adviser.
Connect choices to behaviour
Implement the agreed consent interface, tag-loading rules and preference changes. Test accept, reject, withdraw and repeat-visit behaviour.
Verify the downstream handoff
Check that suppression and request workflows reach the relevant systems, with access controls and an agreed retention process for records.
What we can deliver
- Data-flow and tag inventory
- Consent and preference implementation
- Test evidence and request-handling handover
We agree the systems, responsibilities, acceptance checks and support arrangements before implementation begins.
Define the right scope
This is technical implementation, not a blanket GDPR or other privacy-law compliance guarantee. Applicable jurisdictions, lawful basis, notices and retention decisions must be agreed with qualified advisers. We do not install advertising trackers in this local preview.
Provider requirements and interfaces can change. We recheck the applicable documentation and account access when scoping your project.

Can consent preferences be connected to our CRM?
Where the CRM exposes an appropriate interface, we can map preference changes and suppression states. Otherwise we agree a controlled operational handoff and clearly document its limitations.
What should we include in the first brief?
Share the requirement, systems involved, target market, existing findings and the advisers or assessors already involved. We use that context to agree responsibilities, deliverables and the next review point.
